IMMIGRANTLY

Belonging Without Imitation: A Year-End Reflection
Listen on Spotify or Apple

In this episode, Saadia looks back on an unexpected but transformative 2025 for Immigrantly Media: launching the Love-ly relationships podcast with Mehak, producing over 200 episodes across the network, and building an app that emerged organically from her own immigrant experience of self-censorship and identity editing.

Looking ahead to 2026 with cautious optimism, she previews what’s next, including Bitefully, a new food podcast with MasterChef winner Claudia Sandoval, and Borderly, a four-part Immigrantly series centered on human stories from the U.S.–Mexico border.

2025 in Sports: Legacy, Scandals, and the Stories That Shaped the Year
Listen on Spotify and Apple

As 2025 comes to a close, Sportly looks back at a year that reshaped sports far beyond the scoreboard. Host Kavitha Davidson reflects on defining moments across leagues and borders—from historic performances by A’ja Wilson and Shohei Ohtani to the cultural impact of the NBA’s new media era, the resurgence of tennis rivalries, and the continued growth of women’s sports.

This year-end episode revisits some of Sportly’s most meaningful stories, including the political legacy of ping-pong diplomacy, the origins of women’s sports in the U.S., the Boston Marathon as a site of collective memory, Canada’s national identity through the Toronto Blue Jays, and the ongoing fight for Indigenous sovereignty in lacrosse ahead of the 2028 Olympics.

LOVE-LY

A Holiday Yap Session: Dating, Discernment, and Delusion
Listen on Spotify and Apple

In this holiday special, Love-ly closes out 2025 with a cozy, unfiltered yap session between three friends. Host Mehak (@whathemehak) is joined by former guests Erik (@erikhruszowy) and Waleed (@wearswali) to reflect on the year and share holiday hot takes—keeping things funny, warm, and very real. The conversation ranges from holiday dating do’s and don’ts to how a double Gucci belt nearly brought Mehak to tears, Waleed’s hot takes on therapy, and Erik’s take on Santa capitalism. Along the way, they share holiday memories and encourage listeners—especially singles—to decenter others’ opinions and focus on what actually brings them fulfillment.

This week, Immigrantly Media launched Borderly, a four-part limited-series podcast exploring life on the U.S.–Mexico border through history, memory, and lived experience. Hosted by journalist and El Paso native Mario Carrillo, the series reframes the border not as the edge of a country, but as a place with its own center, history, and meaning. Through personal reflection, reported storytelling, and historical context, Borderly examines how a line drawn through land reshaped families, identities, labor, and movement across generations.
